Nestled in the heart of Santa Rosa, The Naked Pig Cafe offers a warm and inviting farm-to-table dining experience that elevates New American cuisine with a creative, soulful touch. This charming café, located at 640 5th St, is a cozy gem where thoughtfully sourced ingredients take center stage, delivering dishes that are as visually stunning as they are richly flavorful.
From the moment you step inside, the intimate space—with seating for just around 15 guests indoors and a quaint outdoor area—exudes a neighborhood feel that’s both comforting and relaxed. The Naked Pig Cafe is perfect for those seeking a refined breakfast or lunch that goes beyond the ordinary, served in an environment where the passion and craftsmanship behind each plate are palpable.
Signature dishes like the bacon in batter waffles create a delightful balance of savory and sweet, achieving a crispy exterior paired with velvety, melting bacon inside. Diners often rave about the Eggs Benedict, which is rich and perfectly creamy, paired especially well with their house specialty Cream and Cinnamon iced coffee—a complex, aromatic beverage that lingers on the palate with subtle warmth and spice.
One standout treat is the waffle with whiskey caramel, described by patrons as one of the lightest and most delicate waffles ever tasted, soaked just right in a deep, buttery caramel glaze that sings with every bite. For those looking for something uniquely comforting, the biscuit is “to die for,” flaky and rich, embodying the true spirit of handcrafted, farm-fresh fare.
The menu also surprises and delights with dishes like the breakfast tostada and a scrambled egg preparation that defies expectations—it resembles a muffin, yet melts into robust egg flavors. The bone broth, slow-simmered for hours, serves as a powerful, savory companion that enriches the meal with its hearty depth. Complementing the offerings are specialty drinks like a fig-infused soda that refreshes the palate with its subtle sweetness and sophisticated twist.
While some guests note that the portions lean toward the modest side, the consensus remains that quality here reigns supreme—each bite reflects the highest standards of ingredient integrity and culinary inventiveness. The attentive, friendly staff enhance the experience with warm hospitality and efficient service, ensuring your visit feels like dining among friends.
Meeting one of the owners, Jason, adds a personal connection to the visit, as his down-to-earth nature and passion for the craft echo in every detail from kitchen to table.
The Naked Pig Café has rightfully earned its spot on the list of “places you gotta goto” in Santa Rosa—a destination where every meal is a memorable celebration of fresh, organic, and thoughtfully prepared food that awakens the senses and nourishes the soul.
If you treasure authentic farm-to-table experiences and crave inventive New American flavors served in a cozy, unpretentious setting, The Naked Pig Cafe is not just a meal—it’s a culinary journey worth savoring again and again.
We had the bacon in batter waffles and the eggs benedict with Cream and Cinnamon iced coffee. All the food was delicious. Because it is a farm to table restaurant, the prices seem high for the portion sizes, but the quality of the food is superb.
This is a cozy little breakfast place with very good breakfast food. It's a little bit pricey but it's worth it for the quality food. The staff is nice and moves quickly. The waffle with whiskey caramel was one of the lightest waffles I have ever had. I'd certainly get it again. As a heads up: The place is pretty small, as it can only fit 15 or so people. There is a bit of outside sitting though.
Awesome farm to table, small breakfast and lunch stop. We stopped for breakfast. The food is amazing, flavorful and very original. There were 4 of us and we had three different meals. The biscuit was to die for. We also had the bacon waffle, eggs bennie and a breakfast tostada. These last 2 are pictured. The coffee was some of the best i have ever had. We also had a fig infused soda. Interesting, light and refreshing. This is not an inexpensive meal, but it's worth it. Service was great and the staff friendly. Couldn't eat here every day, but I recommend you stop in. Small groups only as the place is tiny. If we weren't from out of town, I would make this a monthly visit.
Came here on a beautiful Sunday for lunch. Ordered a few different things based on recommendations and everything turned out very delicious. The scrambled egg and the bone broth was especially interesting. The egg looked liked a muffin, but is very much an egg. The broth tasted liked it has been cooked for hours. We also had the opportunity to meet one of the owner, Jason. He was very cool and nice, and took the time to tell us how he sourced all his ingredients locally among other things. His restaurant is the definition of farm to table. If you like fresh and organic ingredients, look no further than The Naked Pig!
Just made a positive lasting memory. The Naked Pig Café of Santa Rosa is now on the map of "places you gotta goto for great food!" "That was amazing..Will leave you a great review" is what I told the hostess as I exited still enjoying flavors from the handcrafted organic ingredients that were so beautifully presented on plate/in glass. Ordered an off-the-menu special: waffle with organic strawberries, organic house whipped cream, drizzled with honey and smeared with organic butter. See the Pic of how I prepared it just prior to getting my gobble on. Paired with beverage: Wellness OJ - finished the drink a good 10 min ago and still feel and taste to pure flavors. At a loss for words on describing this place. It is perfect! Everything you want in a local resturant: funky-quirky-thoughtful menu, world class small town service, well lit clean and inviting facility, friendly atmosphere, great for talking with friends while dining -- and then there is the food OMG! This is how I dream my resturat experiences will go. The bottom line: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly Recommend I will return...
Okay, folks and frogs. Please ignore the haters. The food is fantastic. It's healthy. It is delicious. It's fresh from the farm to the table. Dalia Martinez puts her love into every single creation. I have been a loyal follower for eleven years, and I have no complaints. I think the haters below want to hate. It's impossible to make a lover out of the hater. I am going in for breakfast today to support my Chef Dalia. She is the best. Leave it at that. You best be getting in soon to enjoy. Dalia posted on instagram a goodbye message. @thenakedpigsantarosa
